By employing our own field crews, we offer a full turnkey operation including engineering, fabrication, foundation installation, field erection, field coating, and maintenance. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Work under the direct supervision of the Paint Foreman Prepare surfaces for painting using hand tools, power tools, and sand blasting equipment Apply coatings using hand tools such as paint brushes, rollers, and airless spray pumps in a professional manner Measure, mix, and apply paint/primer in accordance with product data sheets Take care of company equipment and perform routine maintenance Properly store and dispose of chemicals in accordance with company policies and regulations Use industry-standard rigging techniques to safely work on water towers Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards Perform general housekeeping duties and other tasks as assigned Make safety the top priority on every project. Frequent talking, hearing, and use of hands to operate tools and equipment Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. (up to 100 lbs. with assistance) Ability to safely climb water towers Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color vision Work Environment
Work performed at high elevations and outdoors in various weather conditions Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, dust, heat, and chemicals Moderate to loud noise levels in work areas Wearing personal protective equipment at all times Extensive travel required; must be available for traditional and non-traditional work hours (40+ per week) Equal Opportunity Employer
