Own the End-to-End Equities Product Experience: Define and deliver the equities and tokenized equities product across Kraken Pro and Consumer Trading - spanning frontend UX and backend product logic.
Build the One Equities Product: Create a seamless, unified experience for users to access both off-chain and on-chain equities through a single product architecture and interface.
Integrate Crypto & Equities Trading: Develop intuitive cross-asset trading flows - enabling users to move between crypto and equities in a way that feels fast, fluid, and native to both ecosystems.
Design Crypto-Style Equity Strategies: Craft products that allow users to engage in high-conviction, high-risk strategies - think leverage, synthetic exposure, and new forms of yield - all within a compliant and user-centric product framework.
Unlock Equities as Spendable Money: Partner with internal teams to enable functionality for holding, sending, and potentially spending equities, treating them as liquid assets in users' portfolios.
Drive Product Execution Across Frontend & Backend: Translate strategic vision into scoped product work; write clear specs, prioritize ruthlessly, and ship iteratively with engineering and design partners.
Act as the Cross-Functional Glue: Work closely with Development, Legal, Compliance, and Operations (without owning them directly) to ensure product requirements and flows account for platform constraints and opportunities. Balance innovation and user experience with adherence to compliance redlines, proactively identifying risk/reward trade-offs and ensuring product decisions align with regulatory requirements without sacrificing speed or creativity.
Serve Both Kraken Pro and Consumer Use Cases: Balance the needs of professional traders and casual investors - delivering differentiated experiences where needed and shared infrastructure where possible.
Stay Close to the Market: Be obsessive about user feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence - constantly iterating and evolving the product to stay ahead.
Skills You Should HODL
Entrepreneurial mindset - willing to explore new ideas, learn and execute in a fast paced environment
Deep interest in both traditional equities markets and crypto ecosystems
Exceptional collaborator and communicator
5+ years of product management experience
Strong understanding of the retail trading landscape and user behavior
Experience building retail products in at least one of the following domains: stocks, cryptocurrencies, or derivatives.
Prior equities experience is required
Solution oriented, highly-motivated and proactive self-starter
Experience working with front end mobile and web apps and back end systems. Effective in navigating technical conversations with engineers
Macro-to-micro versatility: strategic mindset coupled with a keen attention to detail
