We're seeking an enthusiastic Patient Care Technician in Cardiac Stepdown to help us deliver exceptional patient care. Job Summary The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by carrying out various delegated patient care services. Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), you will assist in providing care to patients and contribute to a safe and organized environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in implementing nursing care plans, performing both direct and indirect patient care. Accurately record patient information, including vital signs and intake/output data. Support patient mobility and activities of daily living, including assistance with transfers and discharges. Collect specimens for diagnostic tests with attention to detail and accuracy. Participate in best practices to enhance the patient experience. Qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment. CNA certification in Virginia preferred or completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course. Preferred prior experience in acute patient care.
