About the Opportunity

As Warehouse Associate for ELGi, you will be responsible for supporting the parts and service teams by assisting in the assembly, testing, and inspection of industrial compressors and performing shipping and receiving duties.

As Warehouse Associate for ELGi, you will:

Assist the assembly technician in assembling, testing, and inspecting industrial compressors

Receive shipments; examine shipment contents and compare with records to ensure correct order fulfillment

Prepare equipment for shipment including, but not limited to, preparing shipping documents, packaging, and staging

Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move parts to the appropriate locations. Load and unload freight trucks as necessary

Maintain the warehouse including, but not limited to, ensuring pathways and exits are clear of obstructions

Other tasks as needed or assigned

About You

The Warehouse Associate may be a match for you if you have the following qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

1-3 years' relevant experience

Ability to operate a sit-down forklift

Effective verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Keen attention to detail

Team-oriented

Strong sense of initiative

The Warehouse Associate working condition requirements:

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
