The housekeeper is responsible for the delivery of housekeeping services to residents at the community. You must coordinate and communicate with all housekeeping and other team members in maintaining the service for each resident. Assume cleaning responsibilities for all residences and common areas on a scheduled basis. Keep all areas of the community clean, neat, attractive, and safe for residents, guests and team members at all times.

Requirements

A.Weekly

Change and wash Bed Linen (linen delivery) (if applicable) Dust Furniture throughout apartment Vacuum / mop Empty Wastebaskets & change out trash bags Pick up clothing, etc. throughout apartment (if applicable) Do laundry (wash, dry, return) Clean and Sanitize Bathroom and Kitchenette: Clean toilet bowl, sinks and counters Tub and shower doors (if applicable) Mirror(s) Mop floor Clean towels and washcloths Wash and dry dirty dishes and put away (if applicable) Leave supply of toilet tissue (if applicable) B. Monthly

Defrost Freezer (if applicable) Clean inside windows Sweep down cobwebs Review apartments for repairs and maintenance needs and then report to Environmental Services Director or Lead Housekeeper Common Areas - including lobbies, halls, stairs, elevators, landing areas, activity and/or game room, television room, dining room, model units, public bathrooms, guestrooms, etc. (not including kitchen.) Daily - areas as specified by community Environmental Services Director or Lead Housekeeper (Including: ). Dust Furniture Vacuum Wash Windows Maintain a neutral and pleasant odor Daily - public restrooms - to be cleaned and sanitized as described above in resident bathroom. Weekly - areas specified by community Environmental Services Director, Lead Housekeeper or Executive Director. Thorough cleaning of vacant apartments and readying them for occupancy (vacant apartments should also be cleaned on the regular weekly schedule). Maintain housekeeping cart in a clean and orderly manner. Keep a linen and cleaning supplies inventory. Notifying community Environmental Services Director or Lead Housekeeper when items will need to be ordered (giving supervisor at least a two-week order time). Monitor and notify the Environmental Services Director or Lead Housekeeper of maintenance problems. Comply with all government laws, regulations and all company policies regarding the cleaning and sanitizing of the facility (including waiver and DHS policiies). Follow safe guidelines for the use of specific chemicals, must know where SDS binders are kept and how to read SDS sheets. Request additional guidance, training, and support as necessary to make your work with each resident reach their full potential for a safe, healthy and meaningful lifestyle in the Community. Participate in all required training, orientation, meetings, and programs offered by employer. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or other management staff.

Salary Description

$15/hour
