Responsibilities:
Complete maintenance, repair, and renovation tasks for multi-family apartments
Operate a motor vehicle
Perform light carpentry (finish work, trim, cabinets, doors), electrical, plumbing, and painting
Turn over units making vacated or newly acquired apartments move-in ready
Ensure units and buildings meet safety standards (locks, alarms, smoke detectors, etc.)
Use a mobile app for managing work orders and submitting receipts
Identify and report maintenance needs and complete assigned work orders promptly
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in apartment maintenance/handyman work (required)
Strong skills in: Finish carpentry and trim work
Cabinet and door installation
Lift up to 75 lbs
Perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, crouching
Work in varying environmental conditions (extreme heat or cold)
Light plumbing and light electrical repairs
Strong work ethic: punctual, reliable, flexible
Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or computer for work order management
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
Ability to travel daily within MA and NH territory
Must pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check
Must have own tools and reliable vehicle
