Industrial Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician who will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and devices within our manufacturing plant. This is a dynamic role where you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and systems.
Essential Functions:
Troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase motor control circuits.
Troubleshoot industrial control circuits.
Modify circuits in industrial machines and systems.
Change motors ranging from fractional to 500 H.P.
Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems.
Install control systems for rebuilds or new installations.
Install and test Ethernet networks.
Troubleshoot and install VFD motor controls.
Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace worn or defective parts, and reassemble the equipment.
Replace fuses, light sockets, bulbs, and switches as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience:
1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with electrical drafting knowledge.
Formal electrical training is required, including:
Union apprenticeship Military training Trade school College Industrial experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings. Experience with live 480 VAC 3-phase systems. Proficient in using electrical test instruments. Ability to wire electrical panels from schematics. Basic mathematical aptitude and skills in performing calculations with decimals and fractions. Understand safety protocols, PPE requirements, and the importance of adhering to safety standards. Desired Skills: Experience or training in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Knowledge of Human/Machine Interface (HMI). Familiarity with Industrial Ethernet networks. Experience with industrial control networks and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of OSHA requirements related to punch press controls. Experience with servo motors. Physical Demands/Work Environment: Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods. Ability to climb and work at heights is required. Physical activities may include pushing, pulling, climbing, handling, reaching, and working in confined spaces. Must be able to lift and replace parts that weigh up to 50 lbs.
