Construction Laborer – Paving - CAN START ASAP!!!
Contract to Hire | Gorham, ME |$21 - $25/hr
We are hiring skilled paving laborers and excavation laborers to join a growing team working on commercial paving projects and non-highway roadways. This is a hands-on role for individuals with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience in paving. Each workday begins at our Gorham office before heading out to job sites across the region.
What You’ll Do:
Perform paving tasks for commercial properties and sidewalks
Assist with site preparation, grading, and finishing work
Work closely with a team to complete projects efficiently and safely
Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 70 pounds occasionally
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Commit to working up to 10 hours per day during peak season
What We’re Looking For:
1 to 2 years of paving experience required
Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with construction tools
Experience with commercial paving and sidewalks preferred
Willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Reliable transportation and punctuality
