Job Summary:
The Engineering Digital Group is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to support the development and deployment of medical grade software and data infrastructure, analyzing medical device data worldwide. The candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of software through manual and automated testing, playing a crucial role in the software development lifecycle. This role demands a balance between hands-on testing, software development, and test automation, working collaboratively within a highly technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and API platforms. Collaborate in all phases of the SDLC and STLC, including defect lifecycle management. Develop and execute SQL queries for database validation and backend testing. Utilize automation tools and scripting languages for efficient testing processes. Engage in Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in all sprint ceremonies.
Must-Have Skills:
Profound experience with software testing and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress). Strong background in SQL and API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Industry Experience: Experience in medical device software or similar regulated industry is preferred to ensure compliance with specific regulatory standards and understanding of the high quality and reliability requirements inherent to the domain.
