Pay Information $2,486 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 0700-1530 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum two years current experience required in a large operating room; must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. License: State Nursing License (Compact State acceptable) Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred. Must-Have: Candidate must be able to scrub; must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards. Epic experience preferred, but training can be provided on-site.
