Our Heavy Equipment Operator will work a 4-day on, 3-day off schedule, followed by 3 days on and 4 days off. We provide: Full benefits after 60 days Weekly pay 401(k) eligibility Uniforms, boots, and safety gear provided The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for the loading, pushing, and transferring of solid waste in our transfer station. The ideal candidate should maintain an efficient and professional operation and possess teamwork and self-motivated traits. Additional Responsibilities: Operate heavy-duty equipment, including compactors, excavators, and bucket loaders. Perform routine inspections and setups of machinery before operation. Understand machine capabilities and limitations. Follow hand signals, grades, or markings while operating machines to comply with safety standards. Receive and execute instructions for material movement. Maintain an efficient workflow by loading trailers to target weight and minimizing traffic congestion. Create and maintain ramps or inclines. Repair machinery and replace parts as necessary. Requirements and Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States. High School diploma or GED; higher education is a plus. Minimum of 2 years experience as an Equipment Operator; experience in the sanitation industry is preferred. Fluency in English is required; Spanish bilingual is a plus. Career Opportunities:
