Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate

Property Manager

to oversee day-to-day operations of a multi-family housing property. This role requires a strong understanding of affordable housing programs (e.g., HUD, Section 8, LIHTC), as well as a commitment to providing quality housing and responsive service to residents. This property is a multi-tiered community. Property Management Oversee the day-to-day management of the apartment community, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations. Monitor and manage property maintenance and repairs, including supervising vendors and maintenance staff. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and upkeep of units and common areas. Leading/training/mentoring a small onsite team Tenant Relations & Leasing Market available units, screen applicants, and process rental applications in compliance with affordable housing requirements. Enforce lease agreements, handle tenant complaints, mediate disputes, and manage eviction proceedings when necessary. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism with residents. Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with all HUD, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8, or other affordable housing program requirements. Maintain accurate records, certifications, and documentation for tenant files and program audits. Complete and submit required reports in a timely manner to funding agencies and company leadership. Financial Management Prepare and manage the property's operating budget. Collect rent, manage delinquency, and track financial performance. Approve invoices and control operating expenses within budget. Qualifications: Experience:

Minimum 5 years of property management experience, in affordable/multi-family housing. Multi-family residential leasing experience required. Accredited Resident Manager or similar designation preferred. Accounting/Financial and Administrative background preferred. Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of HUD regulations, LIHTC compliance, and fair housing laws. Skills:

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. Proficient with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage). Certifications:

COS, TCS, or equivalent affordable housing certifications preferred. Driver's License is required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Working Conditions: On-site position with regular office hours M-F and availability for emergencies. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
