JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for greeting Guests and creating an exceptional Guest experience in Lounge/Bar areas. Perform various drink making techniques which include shaking, stirring, blending, layering and the art of mixology. Ability to engage the Guests, in order to anticipate Guests needs and provide exemplary service.
This is a tipped position.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Observe proper sanitation guidelines at all times (hair restrained, hand washing, etc). Perform clean-up duties of all kinds before, during, and after a shift. Report to work on time, as scheduled. Follow guidelines for proper notification of sick leave and vacations. Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar following standard recipes (including specialty mixed drinks, draft and bottled beer) Ability to serve multiple Guests at bar/ walk up Guests and cocktail servers at server stations which includes taking drink orders, entering in POS system, delivering to Guests and following up with Guest service needs until Guest leaves Ability to work with bar/restaurant equipment and supplies including, but not limited to coffee, blender, knives, brewers, soda guns, small dishwashers, and three compartment sink washer setup, small trays, carafes, coffee pots, and glassware; Practices proper sanitation procedures and maintains cleanliness of the area Orders or requisitions liquor and supplies May set up tables within lounge area with glassware, napkins, fruit and garnishes May slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks Serves food and beverage to Guests at proper temperature Shares knowledge of wines, spirits with Guests Able to articulate menu options and ingredients with Guests Assists Guests with directions, entertainment, show event schedules and other information May clear tables and perform pre-bussing duties Some computer experience, working with POS systems; entering Guest drink orders, collecting money, and maintaining a cash drawer to balance at end of shift Completing assigned side work duties at beginning and end of each shift This is a fast-paced position that will involve constant guest interaction. Maintain an organized cash register for sale of products. Must exhibit a positive, friendly helpful attitude toward Team t Members and Guests to maintain the world-class quality of the Nashville Shores experience. ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
May be shifted to various locations, as staffing needs dictate. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Responsible for adhering to Nashville Shores uniform and grooming guidelines. Assist in the preparation of guest drinks. Greet guests and explaining specials. Handle cash and other forms of payment. General alcoholic beverage knowledge (beer, wine liquors and liqueurs.) General knowledge of cocktail recipes. General knowledge of bar setup. General knowledge of bar sanitation. Participate in maintaining the bar- cleaning, sanitizing, setting up and breaking down. Verify legal drinking age and denying service to intoxicated Guests when necessary. Previous bartending experience, 1-2 years. Demonstrated ability to own and resolve guest situations. Good communication skills. Perform multiple tasks at one time. SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
At least 18 years of age or older. Excellent verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in basic mathematics. Alcohol Awareness Training (TABC). Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position requires standing, walking, crouching, bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and pushing - Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to Frequently lift, carry, or otherwise move and position stock and boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying climates. Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays and special events is preferred Minimum Age:

Cashier Certification (Obtained during department training) Valid TABC Server Permit Required.
