About the Role

We are looking for talented people who will celebrate the fabric of our city and take pride in providing amazing guest service. Showing our guests and visitors an authentic Milwaukee experience, one that merges modern style and sophisticated comfort with pure Wisconsin hospitality. • Takes dining and room service orders and communicate them to the kitchen. • Check guest identification if necessary to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. • Serves food and/or beverages in a friendly and professional manner. • Checks back frequently with guests to ensure all needs and expectations are being met. • Posts payments using the point-of-service computer system. Ensures that any guests charging meals to their rooms are checked in and active in the system. • Removes dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to the kitchen for washing.

** Starting wage for this position is $8.00 per hour but final wage will be based on experience**

How do I make an impact on my team?

Our friendly and attentive Evening Restaurant Server helps provide exceptional guest service and customer care in our restaurant and/or during event functions hosted by the property.

Greet every guest with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude

Take dining room and room service orders; communicating them to the kitchen through the point-of-sale system; follow-up directly with cooks as needed

Check in frequently with guests to ensure all needs and expectations are being met

Prepare checks and post payments using the point-of-sale system

Remove dishware from tables/counters during the dining experience as well as at the end; take them to the kitchen for washing

Clean and sanitize the service and guest areas of the restaurant as needed

Deliver room service orders as needed, following up with guests via phone call 10-15 minutes after delivery to ensure everything is alright and ask to arrange tray pickup

Check property hallways for used dishware and return discarded trays to the restaurant for washing
