Maintenance Technician - Full-Time, Direct Hire | Sumter, SC
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to keep high-volume production equipment operating efficiently and reliably. In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve automated systems, ensuring consistent output and minimal downtime. This full-time, direct hire opportunity offers competitive pay, a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package starting day one.
Pay & Schedule
$29-$38 per hour, based on experience + $1.50 per hour shift differential
$5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates
Relocation assistance available
12-hour night shift: 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM, rotating schedule (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off)

What You Need
High school diploma or GED plus a minimum of 4 years of electronic, industrial, or manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Vocational or technical school training in industrial electronics, or an associate degree in a related field preferred
Completion of electrical safety fundamentals training (required)
Experience interpreting and troubleshooting PLC ladder logic (Allen-Bradley preferred)
Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Familiarity with industrial instrumentation and vision systems
Ability to work independently and lead troubleshooting efforts
Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule
What You Will Do
Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production equipment
Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate equipment logs
Assist engineering with equipment installation, debugging, and start-up
Document process changes and maintain compliance with quality system requirements
Support production supervisors with equipment performance data and waste reduction efforts
Provide leadership in troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives
Coordinate with contractors and other maintenance personnel as needed
