Traveling Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled construction laborer to assist with tunnel work and who is willing to travel. The ideal candidate will have experience with various construction projects including water/wastewater, mining, transportation, commercial and residential building, energy, tunneling, and marine environments. A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

Assist in tunnel construction projects.

Work on water and wastewater systems.

Participate in mining and transportation construction projects.

Contribute to commercial and residential building efforts.

Engage in energy, tunneling, and marine construction tasks.

Ensure safety and compliance with construction standards.

Perform concrete finishing and concrete pours.

Handle underground utilities and storm drain construction.

Conduct trenching, trench digging, and pipeline construction.

Assist in demolition and site preparation tasks.

Essential Skills

3+ years of commercial construction experience preferred.

Proficient in construction safety practices.

Experience with concrete, underground utilities, and pipeline construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience with underground utility work is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
