Department: Facilities - Operations
Budget Title: Cleaner (SG5) Various Positions
Local Title: Cleaner - Various Shifts
Posting Date: March 6, 2025
Classification: SG-5; $33,313
Duties: Cleaners perform a wide range of cleaning tasks to maintain assigned areas in State buildings, and surrounding grounds and walkways. Incumbents work independently or as part of a cleaning team in a variety of settings, such as administrative office, classroom, hospital, laboratory, living, treatment, and other work areas.
Positions are classified in various State agencies.

Qualifications: Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and understand and carry out written and oral instructions.

Some shifts may require a valid NYS Driver’s License
