Position Title: Bartender
Summary
As a Bartender, you are passionate about crafting both classic and creative cocktails while delivering exceptional service. You take a personalized approach to guest interactions, consistently exceeding expectations. You uphold the highest standards of professionalism and compliance, ensuring all service aligns with company policies and state liquor regulations.
Key Responsibilities Set up the bar daily by requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, paper goods, and tools according to established procedures. Greet guests warmly and sincerely, creating a welcoming and memorable experience. Prepare and present beverages following standard recipes and portion guidelines. Operate the Point of Sale system efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions accurately. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring tools and supplies are properly stored. Comply with all federal, state, and company alcohol service regulations. Verify guest identification to prevent underage alcohol service. Keep bottles and glassware attractively arranged to support efficient service and beverage promotion. Restock and replenish bar inventory throughout the shift. Build rapport with regular guests and recognize returning patrons. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Required Skills and Abilities
Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Proficiency with POS systems and payment processing. Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Education and Experience
Valid TABC and Food Handler certifications required prior to employment. Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting. Work Schedule
Must be available to work
evenings, weekends, and holidays , which are peak service times.
