In this role, you will take ownership of clinical terminology and reference data capabilities that underpin a wide range of healthcare technology solutions. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from strategy and design to launch, adoption, and iteration. This position requires someone who thrives at the crossroads of customer needs, business goals, and technical execution, with a keen ability to translate insights into actionable product outcomes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, influence decision-making, and ensure the continuous delivery of value in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
Accountabilities Build a strong understanding of healthcare data quality needs across diverse customer segments and channels. Identify gaps in terminology capabilities and prioritize enhancements to support solution development. Collaborate with engineering, UX, architecture, client services, and commercial teams to deliver product updates effectively. Define and manage outcomes-based product roadmaps that balance business strategy with cost/benefit tradeoffs. Translate business objectives into clear requirements and user stories for development teams. Provide internal and external stakeholders with timely product updates, positioning, and value articulation. Lead cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle while navigating evolving priorities. Support sales and marketing teams in driving adoption, awareness, and customer engagement. Requirements
4+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field. Background in healthcare informatics or technology, ideally with deep knowledge of EHR workflows (Epic, Meditech, Oracle, NextGen, etc.). Familiarity with major coding systems such as CPT, LOINC, SNOMED, and ICD-10. Experience with third-party content vendors and contract review is a plus. Strong influencing skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business functions. Strategic thinker with prioritization skills and the ability to work through ambiguity. Excellent communication, both written and verbal. Agile product development experience and history of working with high-performing teams. Willingness to travel occasionally for team collaboration and client meetings (2-3 times/year). Benefits
