We are looking for a
Heavy Equipment Mechanic
with at least
2 years of hands-on experience
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, be safety-focused, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment and vehicles to ensure peak performance and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues in vehicles and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake services.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot electrical and engine systems.
Repair or replace worn parts, including belts, hoses, brakes, and suspension components.
Conduct safety inspections to ensure vehicles meet regulatory compliance standards.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation of all repairs and maintenance.
Work with team members to prioritize repair jobs and meet service deadlines.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper function and performance.
Communicate with supervisors regarding repair estimates and service needs.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting.
Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and read technical manuals.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to safety and following company procedures.
