Job Description
Description: NC State Board of Elections seeks an Application Architect contractor for approximately 12 months for the Election Voter Registration Database project. ***ONLY local candidates within 60 miles of downtown Raleigh will be considered. Please specify your current location in the application. The role involves evaluating and selecting a development platform for the replacement enterprise database application (SEIMS), designing development environments, and managing project implementation and system outages. Responsibilities include: Providing technical expertise in specific technologies or applications Designing and implementing architecture solutions Developing strategies, standards, and roadmaps for architecture domains Managing project delivery within the assigned area Assessing solutions for compatibility with existing enterprise architecture Conducting industry research and engaging with subject matter experts Skills Required
Data modeling and data flow diagram creation Understanding of frameworks and UML Design tool proficiency Requirements analysis and management Strong visualization and communication skills Qualifications
