Our client is an international, industry-leading electronics manufacturer specializing in power management, sensing, and data transfer capabilities.
We are seeking a full-time Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our Hybrid Assembly area. Your primary duty will be to oversee and direct the activities of assembly line employees. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience working on a microelectronic production line that builds hybrid converters, with hands-on knowledge of Wire Bonding, Die Attachment, and Bond Pull. More than anything, you must be a leader with excellent employee relations skills whom people want to follow; a self-starter and highly motivated to learn high-current DC/DC converter assembly. Be safety conscious, quality-driven, energetic, and self-motivated.
You will be part of the company's division that markets components meeting high demands and surviving under extreme environmental conditions. Application areas include space systems, commercial aviation, medical, oil and gas drilling, undersea telecommunication cables, and defense technologies.
In your new role you will:
Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed Provide high-quality leadership and coaching for production employees Create a positive work environment where everyone can perform at their best Implement a Daily Management process with rhythm and rigor to meet daily plans Understand all relevant KPIs and strive to meet and exceed targets Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and personnel Ensure production schedules are met to satisfy customer needs, with timely and accurate paperwork entries Manage and monitor downtime, changeovers, and process improvements related to quality Work with engineering to optimize setup times and improve equipment and operational efficiencies Follow and enforce internal procedures, QMS, and implement lean manufacturing methods (5S, visual organization, etc.) Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Production Control, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Management Perform regular audits to verify conformance to quality systems and schedules Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production goals and recommend process improvements Drive continuous improvement initiatives Your Profile:

Skilled in facilitating daily problem solving and knowing when to escalate issues to upper management are essential qualities. You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience 10+ years of experience in microelectronic manufacturing/production 10+ years of supervising or leading teams in a related discipline Experience/Knowledge of SMT, Wire Bonding, Die Attach Experience in aerospace and defense manufacturing environments, with regulatory compliance such as IPC-610, MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534 Proven leadership skills Flexibility to work overnight shifts Experience with SAP or Oracle, utilizing ERP reports for output and WIP management Strong understanding of Lean and Six Sigma tools (5S, best practices, continuous improvement) Experience with MES systems, such as Camstar, and participation in process enhancements Experience with capacity and performance management
