Embedded Android Developer with Android NDK Experience Location:

Focus on Android NDK experience beyond Android SDK, specifically beyond KitKat (Android 4.4). Scope and Responsibilities
Optimize system performance and stability through embedded systems, OS, and multi-thread programming expertise. Add Android services and policies to our custom AOSP version. Integrate Android platform on mobile devices, troubleshoot, and support product delivery. Assist team members as needed. Create technical documentation and testing procedures. Design, develop, customize, and test Android solutions. Root, configure, update, program, and optimize Android-based devices. Deliver custom ROMs to integrators. Requirements
10+ years of Java experience. Strong background in Embedded Android development, including ROM and Kernel development. Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP). Experience with SE Android and Android CTS is highly desirable. Unix/Linux and SE Linux experience preferred. Familiarity with GIT and/or SVN. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
