Description
SUMMARY:
Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of banquet functions by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Take orders from customers or server Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitter to prepare cocktails and other drinks Serves wine draught or bottled beer Collects money for drinks served (if cash bar), tallies drink consumption for charges to master Requisitions/receives liquors and supplies from beverage manager Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks Cleans and maintains bar areas including portable bars Perform other related duties as requested by the supervisor Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Must be reliable, responsible and able to work well under pressure Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Must be able to work independently Must meet legal age requirements for the position EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
One to two years related experience Resort and/or hospitality experience preferred High school diploma or equal to a GED LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must speak and communicate in English Must be able to clearly communicate with guests, management and coworkers COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient in POS system preferred CERTIFICATES & LICENSES
Food Handler Certification required TIPS Certification required Must provide valid document(s) to work in the US
