Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to oversee and support our team of insurance producers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance sales, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to coach and develop a team to meet and exceed sales goals. This role is responsible for driving performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and grow a profitable book of commercial and/or personal insurance business.
Identify and pursue new client opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted prospecting.
Build long-term relationships with clients, delivering consultative insurance solutions tailored to their needs.
Maintain a deep understanding of insurance products, carrier guidelines, and market trends.
Follows Trucordia sales methodologies and best practices, including proper use of Trucordia tolls and sales management platform.
Lead, coach, and support assigned producers to achieve individual and team sales goals.
Conduct regular performance reviews and one-on-one development sessions.
Monitor pipeline activity, ensure CRM utilization, and guide producers on effective sales strategies.
Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and performance.
Collaborate with the Platform VP of Sales to develop and implement regional sales strategies.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates on team and individual performance.
Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new producers as needed.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations while working to minimize E&O exposures
Qualifications:
Qualifications
10 years of experience in personal lines insurance sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
Active Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license.
Strong knowledge of personal lines products (auto, home, renters, etc.).
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with CRM and agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, Salesforce).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience with Nationwide
Bilingual (English & Spanish)
