We are seeking a Mechanical Construction Project Manager with a strong background in pre-construction to join our Portland, OR office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering innovative mechanical solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage mechanical pre-construction efforts including estimating, design coordination, and constructability reviews. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, architects, and engineers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules. Oversee the preparation of detailed mechanical estimates and proposals. Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies. Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings and presentations. Ensure alignment between design intent and construction feasibility. Manage risk and ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Mentor and support junior team members in pre-construction processes. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical construction, with a strong emphasis on pre-construction. Proven track record of managing mechanical scopes on commercial or industrial construction projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. Proficient in construction estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Trimble). Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Seniority level
