Responsibilities Why You’ll Love This Role:

Deliver hands-on, person-centered care to residents.

Create a therapeutic environment while promoting social skills and community engagement.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans.

Maintain high standards of care, service excellence, and ethical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.

Monitor and report changes in resident condition.

Ensure safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Support residents with physical activities, such as ROM exercises and mobility assistance.

Accurately document care provided and observations.

Participate in training, quality improvement, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Certification:

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or be willing to obtain certification within three months of hire.

Experience:

Experience working with individuals with severe disabilities is preferred but not required.

Skills:

Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of others.

Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues, students, and families.

Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and reporting.

Willingness to actively engage in physical and therapeutic activities, including mobility and pool programs.

Commitment to respecting the dignity and human rights of all individuals under your care.

Commitment to ongoing education and training (12 hours of continuing education annually).

Physical capability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting and assisting residents.
