Black Diamond Coatings has an opening for an Office Assistant to join our growing team. The Office Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office environment. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to various departments, facilitating communication, and managing day-to-day office tasks. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining an organized workspace, handling correspondence, and supporting team members with scheduling and documentation. By managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and assisting with clerical duties, the Office Assistant helps create a productive and professional atmosphere. Ultimately, this role supports the overall functionality of the organization by enabling staff to focus on their core responsibilities without administrative interruptions.
This is a full-time position located in Brooksville, FL. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing them to appropriate personnel or departments. Greet and assist visitors, providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact. Support the preparation and distribution of internal communications and documentation. Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. Operates and assists others in operating variety of office machines, such as: computer, printer, calculator, dater, photocopier, fax machine, telephone, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in an administrative or office support role. Basic proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
