Note: Only GC, USC, GC EAD candidates are considered Job Title: CICS Administrator Duration: 6 Months Contract Job Description: CICS SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR Responsibilities: Thorough understanding of CICSTS42 System Definition (CSD) file maintenance via online (CEDA) and batch (DFHCSDUP). Use DFHCSDUP batch utilities for FCT Extracts, modifications, and updates. Build JCL Job Streams and Control Cards using TSO ISPF 7.1. Implement changes using z/OS 2.1 JES II JCL in batch mode. View JES II Job output using Triangle Systems IOF Product (preferred). Research, plan, and implement numerous CICS File Control Table (FCT) changes in a large multi-region environment with minimal supervision. Availability to work nights and weekends. Use CA-SYSVIEW 14.0 to view CICS File Information and verify FCT changes. Research and prepare FCT changes during normal hours; execute changes during nights and weekends.

Minimum of 2 years experience with CICSTS42 CSD Maintenance. Preferred qualifications include an Associate Degree or equivalent technical certification focusing on IBM Mainframe Operations, TSO ISPF, z/OS JES II JCL, and CICS.
