We are seeking a passionate developer for a contract role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The candidate should be able to work as part of a team to deliver iterative value. The successful candidate will join a vibrant product team responsible for designing and developing web applications that deliver an exceptional user experience. Qualifications
Skills and Experience (Mid-Senior Level): Build websites and applications using dotCMS or other large-scale CMS systems Java/Tomcat experience Technical knowledge of network and server operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and UNIX Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies Experience with REST, Sling, and SOAP in a production environment Familiarity with data exchange protocols like JSON and XML Ability to work flexibly and make appropriate trade-offs to meet deadlines Experience in a fast-paced, iterative development environment; Agile experience is a plus Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience Assets: Experience with Tomcat, Glassfish, Websphere Java in the context of dotCMS plugins and web apps Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, IBM Bluemix Database experience with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL Velocity/Elasticsearch experience 3+ years of relevant professional experience Knowledge of Bootstrap responsive framework Bonus Points: Creative and professional attitude Exceptional attention to detail Enthusiastic team player who brings uniqueness to team culture Additional Information
