An established Family Law firm located in the Greater Orlando area is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in family law litigation and will work closely with a Managing Attorney to represent clients in various family law matters. The firm is looking for an attorney with a strong ability to negotiate settlements while also being ready to aggressively represent clients in court when necessary. Location: Duties: Draft legal documents including motions and pleadings related to dissolution of marriage, paternity, and other family law matters Assist with the discovery process by administering depositions, issuing interrogatories, and reviewing documents Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients Conduct legal research to support case strategies Represent clients in court as necessary, including hearings and motions Maintain a professional rapport with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court Conduct initial consultations with potential clients Provide timely updates and advice to clients regarding the status of their cases Ensure strict adherence to deadlines and case timelines Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida Family law experience (litigation experience preferred)(1 year minimum required) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively under the direction of a Managing Attorney while handling individual responsibilities Ability to maintain professionalism with clients and colleagues Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Certifications: Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida Skills: Family law experience (minimum 1 year required) Drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents Negotiation and settlement skills Legal research and analysis Courtroom experience (preferred) Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines Client-focused with strong communication skills Health insurance Paid time off (PTO) Retirement plan options Company info BCG Attorney Search 801 Brickell Avenue, Suite 900 Miami Florida United States 33131 Phone :
