The Role
We are seeking a talented Asset Management Senior Risk Manager to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing risk management for Digital Assets, Equity, High Income, Fixed Income, Managed Accounts, and Asset Allocation Investment Teams. Your focus will be on blockchain and cryptocurrency-related capabilities, products, and services. Your responsibilities will include gathering industry data, analyzing market trends, assessing internal processes, developing tools to measure and monitor operational risks, and designing plans to mitigate risks that could negatively impact Fidelity, our clients, or associates.
In this position, you will analyze end-to-end processes, assess data and controls to identify potential risks, perform targeted data-driven risk assessments, and develop risk management reporting utilizing data visualization tools.
The Expertise and Skills You Have
3-5 years of experience in a relevant role within the crypto industry, a top-tier management consulting firm, asset management/private equity/venture capital, or investment banking.
Extensive knowledge of blockchain technology and digital assets, including a strong understanding of their technical foundations.
Proficiency in data analysis techniques and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
Significant project management experience.
SQL and Python programming skills are a plus.
A Bachelor's degree is required.
CFA and/or FRM certifications are preferred.
Strong analytical skills with proven experience in querying and analyzing large data sets and evaluating outcomes.
Ability to work autonomously and achieve results in a dynamic environment.
Comfortable in a fast-paced organization where priorities can change quickly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create engaging executive-level presentations and data visualizations.
Exceptional relationship management abilities and a customer service orientation.
A strong collaborator capable of building and maintaining working relationships with peers.
Proven ability to influence others to accomplish tasks and effectively partner with various areas within Fidelity.

Our Asset Management Risk team is dedicated to providing strategic guidance to management and business units by identifying and monitoring risks to safeguard the interests of our firm, clients, and associates. We focus on identifying, analyzing, aggregating, and reporting on significant and emerging risks to assist management in enhancing their controls and processes.

Fidelity operates a hybrid working model combining onsite and offsite work experiences. While working onsite is essential for our business strategy and culture, we also appreciate the advantages of remote work. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) at a Fidelity office.
