Job Description: Project Manager New Product Development Chicago, IL

Onsite, not remote We seek an experienced Project Manager for New Product Development to lead complex global projects from concept to launch. In this role, you will ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also keep cross-functional teams focused, motivated, and successful. This position requires strategic thinking to align projects with business goals. Focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery Manage project

scope, schedule, budget, resources, and quality standards

to ensure effective project execution and delivery. Control scope changes by assessing impacts on cost, schedule, and resources. Create and maintain

detailed project schedules

that identify critical paths and interdependencies to ensure effective project management and execution. Oversee

project budgets , forecast ROI, and implement corrective actions to stay on track. Establish and monitor

quality goals , resolving issues quickly to maintain standards. Identify, assess, and mitigate

project risks

throughout the execution phase. Ensure completion of

Stage Gate deliverables

and facilitate gate review meetings. PMO & Continuous Improvement Mentor other Project Managers and share best practices across the organization. Support

portfolio evaluation

and assess new project proposals. Champion

continuous improvement, process efficiency, and PMO maturity . Capture and apply

lessons learned

to strengthen future projects. Cross-Functional & External Engagement Maintain a strong understanding of

client needs, product use cases, and industry priorities . Represent the organization externally by participating in industry groups and contributing thought leadership. Document

processes, standards, and results

to support organizational learning. Lead and align global, cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering

(Mechanical or Electrical preferred)

or related field. 8+ years

of project management experience in technical product development, with proven success in

new product development . PMP Certification preferred . Knowledge of

lean product development, DFM/DFA/DFX, Six Sigma, PPAP, and SPC . Skilled in

Microsoft Office

and

Microsoft Project (or equivalent) . Must be willing to

work onsite

and collaborate cross-functionally across departments. Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. Demonstrated ability to manage

complex projects from concept to completion . What We Offer Salary:

$115,000 $145,000 annually (based on skills and experience) Quarterly Incentive (Bonus) Pay Program
