The Director of Operations & Business Development, US Mobile Tank Car Cleaning, is responsible for leading the growth and execution of tank cleaning services across designated regions in the United States. This role serves as both a commercial driver and an operational leader, accountable for expanding market presence, managing field crews, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery. This position partners closely with Canadian technical and operations teams to implement new service sites, deploy mobile units, and maintain high standards of performance. The Director will develop and execute strategic plans to grow client accounts, manage operational performance, and ensure service excellence in alignment with corporate objectives.

What You’ll Do
Grow the Business:
Identify and capture new service opportunities, lead pricing and proposals, and represent UTLX at industry events.
Lead Operations:
Oversee mobile cleaning units, ensure safety and compliance, and drive performance across multiple sites.
Bridge Borders:
Coordinate with Canadian technical teams to launch services and share best practices.
Build Teams:
Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing field crews while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
What You Bring
10+ years of leadership in field service operations (industrial cleaning or similar)
5+ years in business development or senior operational roles
Proven success managing multi-site teams and driving revenue growth
Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA, EPA regulations
