Location: Fountain Valley, CA
PURPOSE: Plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like. Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project requirements, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.
Responsibilities
Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans including scope definition, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget estimations.
Team Leadership: Assemble and lead a cross-functional team, assigning tasks, delegating responsibilities, and providing guidance to ensure optimal performance.
Progress Monitoring: Track project progress against the plan, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedule and budget.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and develop mitigation strategies for potential project risks.
Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate project status updates to key stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members, addressing concerns and managing expectations.
Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures, ensuring adherence to budget constraints and making necessary adjustments as needed.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve project issues promptly, escalating when necessary to maintain project momentum.
Project Closure: Complete project documentation, conduct post-project reviews, and gather lessons learned for future projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 8+ years Project Management Experience or 5 year Project Management with 2 years of Business Analyst experience.
Experienced with entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for solution delivery
PMO experience is a plus
Experience with automotive industry is a plus
Strong MS Project 2010 skills required
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytic, documentation, and organizational skills
Efficient with multitasking between multiple projects
Data analysis skills (e.g., SQL data extraction, exporting to MS Excel, data manipulation, report formatting, and analysis)
Proficiency in all Microsoft products including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint 2013
Experience using Project Server 2013 is a plus
Certifications
PMP Certification
Salary Range: $103,170 - $158,873
