About the Role We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Cloud and Technical Solutions to lead the design, delivery, and lifecycle management of cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Reporting to the CTO, this high-energy, customer-facing leader will serve as both a technical and business thought partner—owning the end-to-end solution journey from early discovery and architecture design to deployment and steady-state operations.
You will engage executive stakeholders, translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to drive modernization, platform engineering, and AI-enabled transformation initiatives. You will deliver world-class outcomes for our customers in collaboration with our top-tier AI, Data, and Security ISV partners.
Key Responsibilities
Develop roadmaps and executive-level solution briefs that justify investment
Own reference architectures for cloud migration, modernization, data platforms, AI/ML workloads, and managed services.
Provide architectural guidance throughout build, test, and cut-over phases; remove roadblocks and manage technical escalations.
Coordinate with project managers, cloud engineers, data scientists, and security teams to hit milestones and budgets.
Leverage hyperscaler and ISV programs (credits, funding, co-sell).
Expert-level relationships with AWS, Azure, GCP, and key AI ISV partners.
Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and roundtables; contribute content that elevates brand authority in cloud and ai transformation.
Ensure smooth transition to delivery teams; stay engaged as executive sponsor to protect margin, secure references, and open expansion routes.
Qualifications
12+ years progressive experience in cloud architecture, consulting, or solutions engineering; 5+ years leading cross-functional technical teams.
Deep, hands-on expertise with at least two hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) covering landing-zone design, security, networking, and automation.
Proven track record of collaborating with customers for cloud transformations.
Strong grasp of DevSecOps, IaC, container, CI/CD, SRE, and FinOps.
Demonstrated ability to present to C-suite audiences
Relevant certifications—e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect.
