Master Data Management Analyst

TOPPAN is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst to join our team. The MDM Analyst will be responsible for the daily creation, maintenance, and management of information in support of Toppan's Master Data Management and governance initiatives. This position will also serve as analytical support and subject matter expert of financial and operational master data. As part of Toppan's MDM Team, this position will be an integral part of our initiatives that drive data as an asset through our business by having a continuous improvement mindset and supporting the establishment of standards and processes for data flows, governance, and control procedures. Together we aim to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data across our systems. What You'll Be Doing: Responsible for maintaining and governing the integrity of the Master Data. Verify all required documentation is available and ensure efficient end to end record completion Drive standard practices for data collection, communication, and maintenance Own the item configuration and creation process for assigned operations Publish approved values to vendor price lists Work with category management to receive, and maintain accurate vendor pricing and lead time information Understands standard cost elements Execute the analysis and decision relating to creation, maintenance, and management of data in operational and financial ERP systems Ensure system synchronization Train on and support adherence to data standards and naming conventions across shared data systems Research, analyze, and consult as required to support data users across the organization Support, test, recommend solutions for technology enhancements which enable efficiency and productivity gains around data management and maintenance Recommend solutions and provide support for improved business processes around the shared administration of data Implement process mapping, business case development, workflow definition, and requirements definition around data management Execute governance and audit reviews around master data to ensure integrity and completion of data at operational levels. Generate reports to validate data governances. Other duties as assigned This position is based out of either our Hartsville, SC or Charlotte, NC office and 100% onsite. Some travel may be required We'd Love To Hear From You If: Minimum four-year degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business, Engineering, or related field 3-5 years experience in master data management preferred Green Belt and/or APICS certifications preferred Experience with ERPs D365, Oracle, SAP, Radius Experience with master data maintenance, financial data maintenance, and/or manufacturing data is preferred Familiarity with SQL and/or VBA preferred Cross-functional experience Project management experience supporting data-related projects, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver results. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing and analyzing data. Ability to understand and communicate complex topics based on logic and visual data connections Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends and patterns Extensive knowledge of Excel and creating complex spreadsheets to analyze data Financial acumen, to include understanding the impact and interaction of cost components to the P&L Ability to make tough or controversial decisions Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. This is a progression position and could be a level I - Level IV. Compensation and progression level will be based on candidate's experience and education, and current business needs.
