Manage and prioritize the team’s backlog for your product. Translate Product Manager’s vision and strategy into stories for a development team. Understand stakeholder needs and break down and prioritize work. Collaborate with Product Manager to decide what goes into the product and carry out product strategy within the department. Demonstrate commitment to timelines and maintain detailed product knowledge. Lead focus group discussions with stakeholders to elicit feedback on solutions. Provide demos and communicate direction to stakeholders. Contribute product expertise to the Launch process and ensure consistency across products with other Product Owners. Utilize Agile practices and contribute to customer-facing product documentation. Qualifications
You are able to perform the job responsibilities as directed, achieve results within expected timeframes, and maintain quality and professionalism. You can establish positive relationships with staff, customers and partners and protect confidentiality of student and district data. You are a self-starter with high attention to detail and can adapt to work with multiple functional organizations in a high-pressure environment. You demonstrate commitment to quality and have a track record of leadership from project inception to completion. Excellent analytical and organizational skills; able to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment with frequent software releases. Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to lead a team and manage multiple resources in a high-interrupt environment. Bachelor’s degree and/or 8+ years of product analyst or product owner experience. Technical competence in relational database management systems and web-based software applications. What We Offer
