A nationally respected consulting firm is seeking a Senior Building Envelope Consultant to join its expert team in Marietta, GA. This is a high-impact leadership role for a licensed Architect or Professional Engineer with deep experience in building envelope design, diagnostics, and litigation support.

Base pay range:

$140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Lead envelope design and consulting services for new construction, restoration, and forensic investigations.

Serve as a technical authority in roofing, waterproofing, curtain walls, cladding systems, and fenestration.

Conduct site assessments, testing, and failure analysis, including expert witness services.

Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and construction documents.

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal technical development.

Collaborate with architects, developers, attorneys, and contractors to deliver high-value solutions.

Candidate Profile

Minimum of

8 years

of experience in building envelope consulting, design, or forensic investigation.

Licensed Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia or eligible for reciprocity.

Strong analytical and communication skills, with experience presenting findings to clients and legal teams.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and building science software preferred.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and lead client engagements.
