Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Overview A large telecommunications company is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement Manager with deep expertise in networking technologies to join their growing team in Denver, CO. This role is critical in driving cost-effective sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely procurement of networking infrastructure and services.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for networking hardware, software, and services.
Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements (SLAs) with key suppliers and OEMs.
Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to understand technical requirements and ensure procurement aligns with project timelines.
Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor risk, compliance, and quality.
Drive cost savings, process improvements, and innovation in the supply chain.
Stay current on market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier capabilities in the networking and telecom space.
Qualifications
7+ years of procurement experience, with a strong focus on networking or telecommunications preferred.
Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
Experience working with major vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Nokia is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
