Responsibilities
Reports to the Chief Financial Officer and manages payroll and accounting staff; oversees all areas relating to financial accounting.
Addresses tight deadlines and performs general ledger preparation, management and financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, and support of budget and forecast activities.
The Finance department operates with a budget of
$655,037
and 8 FTEs. Direct reports include Senior Accountants (2); indirect reports include Accountant I (3), Accountant II, and HR and Payroll Administrator.
Most departmental staff have been with the County for less than two years, with two long-tenured staff members.
