Job Title: Sr. Specialist, HR Business Partner

Job Schedule: 9/80 – Employees work 9 out of every 14 days (80 hours total) with every other Friday off
Responsibilities
Provide HR partnership for Engineering functional discipline teams within a matrixed, geographically dispersed population across U.S. sites and international locations.
Act as a strategic partner to understand client area plans and initiatives and offer value-added recommendations.
Partner with all levels of leadership from front-line supervisors to executives and the broader employee population.
Develop and execute human capital objectives across multiple HR workstreams including staffing, leader development, compensation planning, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, change leadership, employee engagement, inclusion, and retention.
Build and maintain effective relationships with management and employees to provide advice on employee-related and organizational matters.
Identify issues proactively and implement root-cause solutions to enhance engagement and business results.
Collaborate with client groups to build and execute on talent actions in support of business strategy.
Analyze data and metrics to support leadership recommendations for continuous improvement.
Participate in or lead projects across Engineering and HR functions; collaborate with HR Center of Excellence, matrixed HR counterparts, Legal, Ethics, Environmental Health & Safety, and Security.
Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives within and outside HR as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience. Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of related experience.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business area.
Minimum 6 years HR generalist experience supporting various levels within the organization.
Experience driving HR strategy in performance management, engagement, retention, staffing, compensation, leadership coaching, succession planning.
Employee relations and investigative experience.
Ability to analyze data and tell a story with data.
Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Strong business and HR acumen with problem-solving and initiative; track record of delivering commitments.
Results-oriented, proactive, and resourceful; ability to influence and coach at all levels.
High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience with matrix organizations and multi-site HR leadership preferred.
Geographically mobile for career growth preferred.
