This is a Hybrid position with 3 times a week in our downtown Manhattan NYC office Job Title: Sr. FP&A Analyst Consolidation FP&A Job Description: This role will be a part of the Business Intelligence team supporting agencys finance leads under the PDX Pillar, reporting directly to the Associate Director of FP&A. The focus areas include financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and providing strategic insights. Responsibilities
Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate with agency finance leads in maintaining regular financial forecasts in accordance with Publicis Groupe schedule Consolidate, analyze, and ensure accurate Pillar financials Conduct detailed variance analysis of forecast/budget vs. actuals across all P&L line items and headcount Collaborate with agency leadership to understand revenue and cost drivers. Develop Budget/Forecast Review presentations with strategic insights into the PDX Pillar Utilize Salesforce to gather and analyze business development data for pipeline analysis, including new business and prospecting trends Analyze client profitability margins and provide insights on client margin risks/opportunities to agency finance leads Month-End Close: Partner with agency leadership to ensure timely completion of month-end deliverables, such as revenue flash and organic analysis Support preparation of monthly variance analysis, highlighting revenue and cost drivers Prepare monthly and quarterly KPI reports for financial analysis Develop Monthly Business Review presentations with strategic insights Ad Hoc Analysis/Other: Export and analyze data from Publicis Groupe EPM, providing strategic insights. Serve as an agency liaison with Connected Media and Groupe. Identify opportunities for reporting and data enhancement. Help to collect and think through the story behind the numbers to provide thoughts regarding the business Trend Analysis and Run Rate Analysis of reported data vs budgets Translate financial reports for business finance leads Maintain the HFM organizational structure Foster positive relationships with agency finance leaders Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance; a Masters degree is a plus NYC office presence required three times a week with a hybrid schedule At least 3 years of experience with strong analytical skills and accountability Expertise in financial P&L analysis, accounting concepts, and revenue drivers Adaptability and collaboration skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and accuracy Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Work with confidential information discreetly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, technically savvy in Excel (financial modeling, vlookup, pivot tables), and platforms like Salesforce, Hyperion/Essbase, Anaplan, Oracle Business Intelligence, and SAP Media experience is advantageous
