Job Duties

Architect, implement, and maintain resilient infrastructure that supports a growing platform and customer base. Automate deployment and streamline infrastructure management using modern DevOps practices and tooling. Collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. Build monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to proactively identify and resolve issues. Contribute to backend infrastructure for both cloud and on-premise deployments. Lead initiatives to improve infrastructure cost efficiency, system reliability, and scalability. Help prioritize the infrastructure roadmap to maximize customer and business impact. Champion best practices for distributed systems and DevOps workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure. Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Expertise with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and multi-cloud architecture. Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and version control. Understanding of automated testing and frameworks for distributed systems (integration, end-to-end, and performance testing). Solid knowledge of networking, service architecture, and cloud/on-prem environments. Comfortable working in the high-ownership, fast-paced environment of an early-stage startup.

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with modern infrastructure and developer productivity stacks, such as Terraform/CDK, Argo CD, GitHub Actions, Grafana, Prometheus, and Linux. Exposure to event streaming and data frameworks (Kafka/Redpanda, Flink, Arrow, Parquet, Rust). Experience with backend and frontend technologies including Go, Java, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and gRPC. Knowledge of building and maintaining systems in multi-region, multi-cloud environments. Enthusiasm for building internal tools and frameworks that accelerate engineering velocity.
