Job Description
This position supports the strategic operations of the student services team in several capacities. Supports Testing Services by administering and proctoring exams across campus locations. Provides high-quality customer service to test candidates, ensuring an environment conducive to course and high-stakes certification and licensure exam completion. Supports other student services initiatives including event support and administrative support for Food Pantry operations and Career Services.
Compensation The hourly pay range for this position is $17.84-$24.08, however, actual starting hourly rate will commensurate with education, credentials, and/or experience. The position is part time and as such cannot exceed 29 hours per week and is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies.

DHRM policy 1.61 Teleworking , effective July 5, 2022, Virginia state employees will return to the workplace. Consistent with pre-pandemic policies, telework may be an option for certain eligible positions. Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills, including ability to understand and interpret written and oral instructions effectively and professionally. Possess a high level of integrity and personal responsibility. Uphold high levels of professionalism and student/exam candidate confidentiality at all times. Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support. Travel between Laurel Ridge locations is required in this position.
