Title: Engineering Supervisor
Location: Kenosha, WI Industry: Industrial Equipment Manufacturing
Base Salary: $110,000-$125,000
Annual Bonus: 10% performance-based

A well-established industrial equipment manufacturer-with over 50 years of innovation and global reach-is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a "player-coach" who enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with direct technical contributions. The ideal candidate will have a background in both mechanical and electrical systems and will play a key role in ensuring the ongoing performance and enhancement of the company's large-scale warehousing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of mechanical and electrical engineers within the Sustaining Engineering group Oversee technical functions related to both mechanical and electrical systems Lead and manage product improvement initiatives, cost reduction projects, and quality enhancements for legacy equipment Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, field service, and product management teams Conduct and support root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for field and production issues Drive documentation updates including engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical manuals Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and internal design protocols Identify and implement standardization and optimization opportunities across product lines Support global engineering initiatives and continuous improvement projects Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus) 7+ years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience-able to guide, motivate, and develop team members Strong design and CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to coordinate effectively with electrical engineering teams Experience with sustaining engineering, product lifecycle management, and continuous improvement Proficient in engineering tools and methodologies such as FMEA, DFMA, and RCA Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills Hands-on, practical approach with comfort working on the shop floor as needed Meet Your Recruiter
