Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Medical Revenue Cycle Coordinator for a rapidly growing healthcare technology company innovating outpatient specialty and biologics workflows. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with a preference for onsite work in San Francisco, CA, though U.S.-based remote candidates will be considered.

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Revenue Cycle Coordinator to manage the full workflow of biologic and specialty therapies, including patient intake, benefits verification, prior authorization, and medical policy review. This role supports clinical and billing teams to ensure accurate claims and reimbursement using a proprietary coordination platform. Triage and process new patient referrals for specialty and biologic therapies Conduct benefits verification and assess payer-specific coverage criteria Submit and track prior authorizations, including handling escalations and appeals Review documentation for compliance with payer medical policy requirements Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to ensure clean claims and reimbursements Manage all casework through Mandolin’s custom-built coordination platform Qualifications

Experience supporting intake, benefits verification, prior authorizations, medical policy review, or billing in outpatient settings Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills Familiarity with medical billing software and ability to learn new platforms Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Comfortable navigating ambiguity and receptive to feedback Compensation and Benefits This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering a competitive hourly wage of $44/hr, depending on location, experience, and performance.
