What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Develop safety-critical gas turbine engine control software to DO-178C compliance objectives - Provide software architecting support to enable software-to-software integration and testing, including product line methodologies - Modify processes and methods to achieve compliance objectives and optimal development pace - Set up and modify continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) frameworks for efficient software development - Liaise with certification airworthiness authorities to explain approaches and demonstrate compliance
What is Required (Qualifications): - Minimum of 5 years of experience with a BS in a STEM discipline or 3 years with an MS in STEM - Gas turbine experience - Experience in developing safety-critical software - Proficiency in developing logic for closed-loop systems - Experience in embedded software design
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience with software architecting and integration methodologies - Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) frameworks
