Under the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Department Manager , they are responsible for the operation of highly technical state-of-the-art radiographic equipment. They are responsible and accountable for the patient outcomes in the cardiac cath/special procedures. Responsible for radiation safety practices in procedure rooms.
Work Hours
Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly
Day Shift (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
NO weekends, holidays, or on-call commitment
Sign-On Bonus (Qualified external candidates only)
2+ years of Electrophysiology / Cath Lab experience: $35,000 with a two-year work commitment.
Less than 2 years of Electrophysiology / Cath Lab experience: $17,500 with a one-year work commitment.
Minimum Requirements
Associate's Degree in Allied Health
Successfully passed the Hemodynamic test
EKG competency preferred
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or CVT/CVIT or Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)
BLS/CPR
Unrestricted license from ODH if ARRT
Understanding of aseptic technique
3-4 years experience in a related field
Job Responsibilities
Proficiently perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEU's.
Provide ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of the patients and families.
Demonstrate proficiency, competency, and knowledge in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEU's.
Maintain accurate records through the completion of all paperwork.
Demonstrate organizational responsibility.
Demonstrate proficiency in the ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of patients and families.
