Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction
Design a career and build your future... Because it matters! We are currently seeking long-term Construction Project Engineers for projects
in the Southwest and Pacific Northwest regions . Our Construction Engineers provide project planning, scheduling, procurement, and related technical and administrative support to lead individuals on the project. This position works closely with the project manager, superintendent, foremen, and crews to support the overall needs of the project. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform project scheduling. Manage revenue, costs, and cash flow. Contract, manage, and coordinate sub-contractors and product vendors. Participate in the preparation and implementation of design management and quality control. Maintain good relationships with client representatives. Assist in operations planning. Administer contracts and subcontracts. Train and direct Field Engineers. Develop and maintain owner relations. Qualifications: Ability to read and analyze engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents, and identify discrepancies. Strong understanding of pre-construction and construction processes. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Respectful of direction and feedback from superintendents and project managers. Punctuality and regular attendance as per project and company hours. Strong computer skills with MS Office; experience with Primavera, Heavy Job/Heavy Bid is a plus. Experience managing engineers. Must be able to travel and relocate to projects in the Pacific Northwest and Southwest regions. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is highly desired. Project Engineer: 4-6 years' experience in construction or engineering.
